Mining asset management services
Rylson Group asset management services encompass total life cycle management and total cost of ownership. Life cycle planning is essential to maintain and extend the useful life of assets through the entire lifecycle, from purchase to disposal. Plant reliability management

It also requires the development of assets and conditions parameters and criticality analysis, which assists in
understanding the criticality of an asset to the business. Reliability engineering includes reliability block diagrams and fault tree analysis.
Plant / mine maintenance management
Maintenance management includes two aspects: work management and plant / factory / facility shutdown.
Work management includes workflow process development, using the pipeline model, work management process mapping and development of responsibility matrix. We assist in the evaluation, selection and implementation of computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Shutdown planning, programming and maintenance includes commissioning and project management services.

Inventory management
Optimisation of inventory levels leads to a reduction of inventory and inventory holding costs.
Mining equipment spares analysis
Spares analysis balances the risk of not having a spare component when required against the cost of holding the inventory. The Rylson model is a risk-based decision tool which not only recommends whether there is a need to carry spares but also the when to carry them. This enables optimum inventory purchase decisions as opposed to having a complete inventory at all times, which can impact working capital timing and the life cycle plan for the asset.
