The Optiflux 4000 electromagnetic flowmeter can be used for the measurement of liquids, pulps, pastes, slurries and other fluids under difficult process conditions.

Experience and our intelligent quality assurance system enable us to place our mass flowmeters in applications inaccessible to other manufacturers.
The Krohne Optiwave radar level meter works better than any radar ever before, offering sharper resolution and higher accuracy.
Optiflex 1300C guided radar (TDR) level meter has higher signal dynamics and sharper pulses that measure thinner interfaces.
KROHNE, founded in 1921, offers a wide variety of process measurement instruments. In fact, we invented quite a number of them. We offer supporting products and services, making us a one-stop-shop for industries as widespread as oil and gas, water, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, mining and shipping, to mention a few.
Electromagnetic flowmeters
The new generation Optiflux electromagnetic flowmeters from KROHNE can be used for the measurement of liquids (with or without solids content) pulps, pastes and other fluids that have a specific minimum electric conductivity.
The Optiflux series carries the same heritage as the very first meter built in 1952 by TOBI & Altometer, not excluding the now obsolete but well-renowned AC meter – the TIV50 with magnetite compensation.
Superior electronics give you superior results that are reliable and repeatable even under difficult process conditions, while quality manufacturing guarantees years of trouble-free use.
The Optiflux is available in a variety of liner/electrode combinations from soft rubber to ceramic tiles, all well suited to metals and mining industries. It is custom-built with special connectors to suit high-pressure applications in any industry. As KROHNE have a reputation that is well acknowledged, this has resulted in them producing EMFs for OEMs, as well as for other instrumentation companies.
At KROHNE, all flowmeters are wet-calibrated by direct comparison of volumes, the most accurate calibration method. The KROHNE calibration rig is the world’s largest and most accurate.
Mass flowmeters
The Optimass mass flowmeters offer not only maximum accuracy but also maximum reliability. A wealth of experience, along with an intelligent quality assurance system, enables us to place our mass flowmeters in applications inaccessible to other manufacturers.
The Optimass 7000, with a single straight measuring tube, and the Optimass 2000, with its dual straight through measuring tube, have very few limits with regard to tube materials. Titanium, tantalum, hastelloy and stainless steel are some of the commonly employed materials. A full range of meter sizes and process connectors are available for low flows to a maximum of 2300t/hr.
High viscosity, particulate matter, inhomogeneous mixtures and normal entrained air have little effect on the accuracy and quality of the measurement.
Non-contact radar level meters
The Optiwave radar series measures distance, level and volume of liquids, pastes and solids. The Optiwave works better than any radar ever before. In contrast to earlier devices, the new Optiwave with its more advanced design is able to operate over a larger bandwidth, ensuring a sharper resolution and higher accuracy. The higher signal dynamics allow the detection of even the smallest changes.
Setting up a two-wire level gauge couldn’t be easier. Simply fit the gauge to the tank, wire it up and switch it on: Optiwave tests itself to make sure its electronics are working perfectly and its wizard walks you through a simple series of questions to define your tank and the product you want to measure.
Guided radar (TDR) level meter
The Optiflex 1300C guided radar (TDR) measures distance, level and volume of liquids, liquid interface, pastes and solids. The Optiflex, now also with its advanced design, feature higher signal dynamics. Sharper pulses measuring thinner interfaces and excellent time base stability, guaranteeing better reproducibility, translates into more plant efficiencies and cost savings.
The easy-to-understand DTM screens make process setup, process analysis and also process control easier than with any other device.
