Mine-Assist, incorporated in Australia in 1996, supplies services and personnel to the mining industry.

Undertaking major projects, the company has grown from a handful of employees in 1996, to in excess of 45 employees in 2006. Mine-Assist now has a large workshop and storage facility based in Singleton, New South Wales.

In August 2006 Mine Assist was purchased by the Environmental Group Limited (EGL).

Polyethylene pipework and steel, concrete, ABS and PVC pipe systems

The company specialises in the supply and installation of polyethylene pipework; steel, concrete, ABS and PVC pipe systems. Our knowledge and experience in the poly pipe field has won projects for us throughout NSW. Several notable projects include poly installation in the gold mines at Orange, Parkes, West Wyalong. The Redbank Power Station project in 1999/2000 again saw our company involved in the installation of services.

Industrial and heavy machinery cleaning

Mine-Assist has fully equipped field units complete with high pressure and heated pumps capable of 3,000psi to 6,000psi to remove stubborn lubricants with very little agitation from detergents.

Mine-Assist has only professional teams operating these high pressure units. Risk assessments are completed prior to the commencement of any work. Our company is able to assist in the high pressure cleaning of all mobile earthmoving equipment, workshop floors, services bays as well as most other areas. Hot water units capable of 4,200psi at 180°.

Mine-Assist provides cleaning services to mining companies for their weekly dragline shutdown periods. We have cleaning teams trained in the following:

CHPP cleaning
Confined space cleaning
Dragline cleaning
Shovel cleaning
Cab detailing of heavy plant
Oil / dirty water evacuation

Earthworks machinery and operator hire

Mine-Assist provides various earthmoving equipment. The machinery, as listed below, comes complete with operator and is available for hire at competitive rates:
